COVID-19 Maker Resources
These COVID-19 maker resources are here for everyone with maker skills and machinery to anyone with a needle and a thread. As a result of the world being unexpectedly plunged into a pandemic, we are finding the Achilles heel of the “just-in-time” manufacturing. Consequently medical and other essential workers need Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and patients need ventilation equipment. Therefore designers and makers the world over have started stepping in to help.
In the list below we want to collect resourced together for any makers out there to use, improve and manufacture for their local health workers. Please note that these are all external sources. We do not tale any responsibility for these. Consult with local experts.

Face masks:
These have two purposes. One to prevent the spread from the wearer to other people, and second to prevent the wearer catching the virus breathing in. Everyone should wear some kind of face mask, if only to prevent them infecting other people. Even a scarf will help to a small amount.
The second Protective Mask should be put in the hands of the medical professionals first. They are currently desperate for more PPE equipment and you need them to be able to do their jobs.
